Athletic Ministry (CYO)

This organization coordinates parish athletic teams for a variety of ports including soccer, volleyball, field hockey, basketball, baseball, softball and track and field. Contact: Michael Brauckmann, (610) 292-9054

Basketball (Adult)

Men from the Parish gather on Thursday evenings from 9 to 11 at Grady Hall for pick-up basketball games. Contact: Ben Iacovetti, (215) 542-9043

Bereavement

The bereavement committee extends condolences and prayers to grieving families and assists them with such practical needs as errands, airport pickups, house sitting during the funeral. Contact: Linda & Joan Purcell, (610) 279-3221

Bloodmobile

This life-giving effort is held semi-annually, usually in April anfd October. Blood drive telephone soliciters contact prospecive donors before each drive. Contact: Bernie Toth, (610) 279-2788

Boy Scouts – Troop 117

Charismatic Prayer Group

This group gathers every Tuesday evening at 8:00pm in the Parish Center to worship God in prayer, praise, and song that is led by the Holy Spirit. Contact: Joan Clifford, (610) 279-8320

Church Greeters

Collection Counters

Communion Calls

Craft Show

Cub Scouts Pack 117

Cub Scouts Pack 117 is a Scouting organization that is open to all boys from 1st to 5th grades which meets a few times a month in dens and once a month as a pack. Cub Scout leaders are parent volunteers. Contact: Earl Albone, (610) 272-0191

Ecumenical Affairs

Maintains contact with the Plymouth – Whitemarsh Ministerium regarding the Thanksgiving Service, the World Day of Prayer, and Church Unity Sunday. Contact: Joan Gibson, (610) 275-8580

Epiphany 55

This social club of 200 members over 50 years of age meets monthly from September through June and conducts programs, activities and trips for its members. Contact: Frank DeVito, (215) 699-4133

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the Priests and Deacons in distributing the body and blood of Christ at Holy Mass and take Holy Communion to the sick, elderly, and homebound members of our parish community. Contact: Anne Nolan, (610) 834-9953

Finance Council

The Finance Council advises the pastor on the temporal needs of the parish and how they can be met through proper budget preparation, periodic review of income and expenses, and by financial development and fund-raising activities. Contact: Rev. Joseph J. Quindlen, (610) 828-8634

Food Certificate Program

This is a fund-raising project that benefits the Parish and attendees of Catholic education programs by selling scrip from local grocery and department stores at a 5% discount after all weekend Masses, at the rectory during business hours, and at the school office during school hours. Contact: Paris A. Frozen Casserole Ministry

On the first Sunday of each month, in the Parish Center, this ministry collects frozen breakfast and dinner casseroles, food staples, and clothes for delivery to the homeless at Bethesda Project in Philadelphia. Contact: Suzanne Antonello, (215) 643-0599

Gardening Angels

This group of volunteers makes sure that the vegetation outside of the church and rectory is kept well watered and looking good. Contact: Ann Bucci,(610) 277-2836

Home and School Association

The Home and School Association provides parents, teachers and parishioners with an opportunity to be more effective teachers of the children of the parish. We encourage every school family to attend our 3 annual meetings. Contact: Joseph McGuire, (215) 643-3400

IBL Basketball League

The Instructional Basketball League is for parish children (boys and girls) from 1st grade to 4th grade and is limited to 130 children per year (10 teams). The season runs from late January to early April. Contact: Eric Friday, (610) 828-8741

Knights of Columbus

Lectors

The Lector Ministry is dedicated to sharing the Word of God with our Parish Family at Sunday and special liturgies. Contact: Peter Boylan, (610) 277-1357

Legion of Mary

Members of this apostolate presently are doing door-to-door evangelization, visiting homes within the parish and the Plymouth Nursing Home to see if there are any issues or concerns. Market Day

Marriage Encounter

Music Ministry

The Music Ministry is composed of more than one hundred “musical” Parishioners who participate in Adult, Teen, and Children’s choirs and several quartets and instrumentalists who enhance parish liturgical celebrations. Contact: Connie Steuer, (610) 291-4255

Outreach to the Sick and Elderly

Outreach volunteers assist in serving the spiritual and social needs of sick and elderly parishioners often providing transportation and meals on a temporary basis.

Parish Picnic

Pastoral Council

Perpetual Adoration

Many parishioners spend an hour before the Blessed Sacrament in the Perpetual Adoration chapel located in the rectory. All are invited to sign up for an hour. Contact: Elaine Thorpe, (610) 828-6925

Pre-Cana Marriage Preparation

Our Pre-Cana team gives engaged couples a realistic view of the commitment, spirituality, intimacy, and family aspects of marriage at Pre-Cana Days held the Saturday after Easter and the third Saturday in October. Contact: Jack and Lenore Phipps,(610) 272-7098

Pre-Jordan

The Pre-Jordan program provides parents and godparents of children about to be baptized with a fuller understanding of the Sacrament and affirms their own faith and responsibilities as their “child’s first and best teacher. Contact: Paris & Vielka DiPietro, (610) 828-8634

Religious Education Program (REP)

Respect Life

The Respect Life group informs parishioners of developments concerning life issues, encouraging contact with legislators on current issues and participation in many local pro-life activities. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Serve Our Neighbor (SON)

SON seeks to help fulfill the Parish’s mission to the poor by organizing service activities, including an annual turkey dinner drive at Thanksgiving, a GIVING TREE at Christmas and participation in Christmas in April house repair activities. Contact: James O’Connor, (215) 283-2447

Welcome Committee

Youth Ministry
